In Honor of Mark Bassett

While a fairly recent convert to the gorgeous St Mary's River, Mark was enthusiastic about fishing and crabbing the River. He even grew thousands of oysters off his pier. He was highly supportive of the St Mary's River Watershed Association and the St Mary's River Monitoring Coalition's efforts to sample and track the seasonal health of the River.

 

He also strongly encouraged his friends to not neglect the various age-related medical tests, and avoid the problem that brought him down.

 

Mark and his wife, Diana, have avidly supported the St. Mary's River Watershed Association since they bought their "forever home" along the river in 2017. In honor of his life and legacy, Mark Bassett asked family and friends to donate to the St. Mary's River Watershed Association.
