We cannot thank you all enough for supporting our programs by attending this year’s A River Affair fundraising event.

A River Affair is the St. Mary’s River Watershed Association’s largest fundraiser of the year. By purchasing tickets, hosting, or donating auction items, you have supported our work to protect, improve, and promote the sustainability of the St. Mary’s River. Thank you for joining us!

A special thank you to all of those who donated items for the live and silent auctions, most of which were from local community members or business owners.

Thank you to all who contributed to the ‘Fund a Need’ program at this year’s gala! Generous donations to the Lindsay Paul Rudolph Internship Fund provide us with the opportunity to continue our internships year after year. Our interns are able to gain hands-on work experience, learning real-world environmental actions throughout our community. We have a full list of activities that our two high school and three college-age interns will be taking part in this year – we look forward to providing updates once they start working in May!

We had a number of people support the Living Reef Campaign by purchasing spat (baby oysters) and Reef Balls with personalized inscriptions. The reef balls will be built, left to cure, and planted as oyster habitat in 2027. We are grateful to all of those that took part in this wonderful effort to restore a vibrant oyster reef system in the St. Mary’s River.
