WHY BECOME A MEMBER?

St. Mary's River Watershed Association actively fights for environmental sustainability for our community on behalf of our members. Each watershed member who makes an annual membership gift provides the resources we need to do the work to help clean our river and promote a healthy watershed. Our work would not be possible without financial support from our members, whose pledges allow us to more effectively plan the scope of our work.

Please help support SMRWA's work by joining or renewing your membership. There are several ways you can donate. We can help you decide which is best for you. Many of our members prefer to do recurring payments to give on a periodic basis. For example, an automatic donation of just $25.25 will add up to a major annual donation at the level River Steward. In order to save paper and postage, we acknowledge monthly gifts at the end of the year.

With your legacy gift, you help ensure that our work to protect your right to clean water can continue to benefit your children and grandchildren, and the river that we love.

We recommend that people considering making a legacy gift, such as a bequest in a will, work with their financial advisor. Oyster Reef Ball More InformationEach oyster reef ball will be home to 400 oysters and countless other critters.
Have an Oyster Reef Ball inscribed with your name or message that is 26 characters or less for $100.00 and installed in 2025 in the St. Mary's River Oyster Sanctuary! Makes for a great gift too!

You can also have Baby Oysters Spat installed in the St. mary's River Oyster Sanctuary for $10.00 per 1,000 oysters!

Workplace GivingWorkplace giving is a convenient and easy way to help St. Mary's River Watershed Association ensure your waters are swimmable, fishable, and drinkable.
